About Semrush Experimental Tools

SEO, AI search, and digital marketing are changing quickly. This is where we build and test new tools around those changes — emerging systems, shifting behaviour, and problems that don't have established tooling yet.

These tools are experimental, so they may change, move, or be discontinued as we learn more about how these systems work and what marketers need from them.

  1. We test We build a tool quickly around a recent change in SEO, AI search, or marketing, and make it available to use straight away.
  2. We learn We look at how the tool is used, whether its output holds up, and how well it keeps pace with the systems and algorithms it reports on.
  3. We build Tools that prove useful get built on. Some join Semrush Free Tools, some grow into full products. The rest are phased out.
